In 1938, W.W. Clyde formed Utah Service. Over the years the firm has expanded, focusing on the rapidly expanding professional builder market and the serious do-it-yourselfer.

The Creation of Sunroc
In 1996, the Clyde Companies purchased J & J Lumber and Building Supply, which had been doing business since the early 1930's.
